The Stiles Hotel is one of the many historic, Art Deco, boutique hotels I came across early in the morning while exploring the Miami Beach Architectural District in the South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach, FL.

In this composition, you can see the Art Deco design elements including the window “eyebrows” – the architectural term used to describe the awning-like ledges over the windows of many of the buildings in the Miami Beach Architectural District.
Early in the morning, during the blue hour, I was able to explore the Deco District of the South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach and I was able to get a nice capture of the historic Essex House while it’s neon sign is still lit.
One of the things I love about going to the South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach, FL, is walking along Collins Ave. and shooting all of the great Art Deco architecture, such as that found on the Marlin Hotel, of the Deco District.
The New York Life Insurance Building, which was built in 1887 and the Aldred Building, which was built in 1931 stand next to each other in the historic square Le Place d’Armes in the Vieux Montreal (Old Montreal) neighborhood of Montreal, QC.
The Bentley Hotel is a great example of the many historic Art Deco hotels located in the Deco District of the South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach, FL.
